Week1: the montage

You'll have to hum the theme to Rocky or something while watching this, since there is almost no sound. It's just 2 minutes of random footage that will ultimately cause the SRS to come knock on our door.

New people to hang with

Grandma Susan and Great Grandma Sally are in town this week to spoil Gray. =)

Just some pictures

Here are a couple of pictures of people visiting us in the hospital the past few days:

Angela and Maleigha seeing Gray for the first time. Mali was very excited to see her cousin, and did very well sitting with him and petting his head.

This is a good one to show how alert the big guy already is! He spends lots of time looking around and being happy.

Finally, two pictures of Linz and Andy showing off their total lack of parenting experience. First, they work together to try to put Gray's coat on before leaving the hospital. Then, is a picture of what we finally settled on for his "Leaving the Hospital Outfit," which started out as a good idea but ended up as a conglomeration of several non-matching items when it was so cold out today! He looked SOOOOO retarded, I am sure he will never forgive us!

We are sure that this was the first moment of our lives as parents that could be recorded under the title, "Fine Moments in Crippling Your Child's Social Status!"

Friday morning, before we came home, Nona Suzi gave Gray an awesome surprise - a Green Bay Packers quilt! This picture is Gray resting on the couch wrapped up in his new quilt. Fashion Show

Today things have gone well enough (well, at least after a traumatic morning - but us guys are not discussing THAT) so we have started to break out some clothes beyond the standard issue hospital shirt. Nona bought us our first blue outfit, we did fit Great Grama Sally's socks over his huge feet, and he has been wearing one of his hats all day. Still on pace to go home tomorrow - Lindsay is walking around and feeling very good, but if she accidently laughs at one of my jokes, it still kinda hurts.
